Colin Moy

Having studied acting for three years at the Sydney Acting School, Colin Moy returned to New Zealand in 2005 and has been based here ever since.  Best known for his award winning role in ‘In My Father’s Den’, Colin has been a regular face on both New Zealand and international screens.  He has also dabbled in radio plays including leading roles in ‘The Fat Man’ and ‘Seizure’. 

Most recently, Colin has had a string of high profile credits of late, including playing 'General Richter' opposite Tommy Lee Jones in Peter Webber's Emperor and an on-going role as 'Senator Metellus' in the final season of Spartacus. Closer to home, he played the lead in a local feature film Orphans and Kingdoms and played key roles in the international films ‘6 Days’ and ‘Into The Rainbow’.  He also played a leading role in the TV movie ‘Bombshell’, has an ongoing role in ‘The Brokenwood Mysteries’ and spent 6 months playing Ferndale's uber villain, Mason Coutts, on 'Shortland Street.
