Aroha is the host of The Sweetest Hangover on George FM Saturdays from 7-10am and prior to that Wednesday Drive on 95bFM. A big music enthusiast, Aroha presented and produced Juice TV's kiwi music show "NZown" for 3 years, the alternative show, "Transmission" and prior to her time at Juice TV, was the "Fresh Produce" new music show presenter on Alt TV. She's also an accomplished DJ and now works for internationally renowned DJ software development company Serato, interviewing DJs from around the world and presenting and narrating tutorial and promotional videos.
She has produced and voiced radio documentaries and presented shows for Radio New Zealand National, Radio Active 89FM, 95bFM, PBS Melbourne and for the BBC Worldservice, and was nominated for a New Zealand Radio Award in 2005 for her work as Interviewer / Narrator / Engineer for the popular 12 part New Zealand music documentary series "Inside Track".
Aroha has done a lot of work behind the scenes as well as on-air including working as the Programme Director at 95bFM, as a tutor and lecturer at SAE School of Audio Engineering, as studio engineer at 95bFM and audio-post editor for Butobase/Maori TV. She has 7+ years of acting experience and a Certificate in Acting for Theatre, Film and Television - Wellington Performing Arts Center (1997). Other qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Recording Arts from Middlesex University, London (2005).
